Finding Your Site Rankings

March 25th, 2021

There are several ways to find your site’s ranking position in the search engines. We are talking about Search Engine Ranking Position, not Alexa Rank which may have some influence over the SERPs.

The simplest way to find your SERP, of course, is to go to a search site such as Google or Yahoo and enter your keywords one at a time. Then is is a matter of scrolling down through the results until you locate your page.

Not the most efficient use of your time, I suspect, unless you are lucky enough to rank on page 1.

Another method is to use a service. There are many paid and a few free options to choose from.

Webceo offers a free service as does Pro RankTracker and SerpRobot

The free Webceo service is limited to 6 keywords on a few pages. Pro RankTracker offers up to 20 keywords on 2 sites.

This should be sufficient to get you started, but you may wish to upgrade to a paid service plan.
